when murdoc says it "knocked his eyes out" he doesnt mean literally, he just means that went black so you cant tell if he has eyes. thats not an inconsistency thats just murdoc being dumb. and the reason 2d said he prefered plastic beach is cuz he had been manipulated so much that murdoc had once again convinced him that it was good for him, also by the end of plastic beach all the characters had had new developments, and plastic beach, while being horrible for 2d, was actually good for them all in the end. so neither of those are inconsistencys. also, 2d has had brain damage multiple times, his storys may be inconsistent cuz he forgets things, they have said that 2d has memory problems multiple times

But you should always! teach your voice actors about your characters personally and its backstory, It doesn't make sense why damon and Jamie didn't inform him about his character That hes going to play for a couple years!

I don't like Kevins voice at all 😭 he kinda sounded good in phase 4, but in the other phases, he sounds way! Different, I like Nelsons act on 2d, cus he sounds natural and hes used to his character, and when he voiced 2d, he made him sound like how 2ds personality is brought out to be, but Kevins take on 2d sounds like he has a cold a really bad one 😭 and his voice is raspy especially on the Stuart podcast! 💀 and less with a speech impediment And more British sounding like how 2d used to sound

There are segments from a Rat Patrol episode she was in called Mask-A-Raid from around the same time as her Hogans Heroes appearances. She was also in some Flipper episodes from the 60’s, Ulla was a lovely lady. Shame she passed away so young…

The problem isn’t exactly Kevin Bishop (though some of it is). These interviews are scripted just like any other thing Gorillaz do and the real problem is the lead script writer Ed Caruana. He’s been active since 2016 and it’s incredibly clear that he’s never read Rise or the Ogre or has any clear history of the Gorillaz at the forefront of his mind. He doesn’t know the characters at all. In fact it’s so bad that fans on social media have forced him out of his platform and all his websites are either gone or password protected. He’s that bad. And fans have been trying to get him fired for a good 5 years now.

I did think it was a little out of character when 2D said Murdoc was being 'facetious and obnoxious', just didn't seem like something he'd say haha, but I don't mind Kevin's voice, the plot holes do bother me a bit but it's only cos I love the lore so much. Either way getting more interviews with the characters is great for me

Good thing is that nelson de freitas still works with damon albarn as a music helper, but not as a voice actor, so maybe we can get a comeback someday? it would be cool if he voiced again 2D for gorillaz netfilx movie but we'll see about it :)

While I do agree the newer actors and writers don’t really get the lore. I feel during the humanz interviews 2D intentionally lied about his eyes because in an earlier interview it mentioned how Murdoc kidnapped him and Murdoc didn’t like it very much. That’s my interpretation anyways.
